Most people don’t
know all the benefits of owning a spa. They see a spa as
a place to entertain and a place to relax. They don’t know
that when you are immersed in water your body is ninety percent
buoyant and when you combine this buoyancy with heat, your muscles
naturally relax, and your blood flow increases. The result is
a flood of oxygen and nutrients to tired, sore, aching muscles,
which speeds their recovery and repair. They don’t know
that this also causes a surge of endorphins, your bodies own natural
painkillers, to these same areas. They don’t know that after
several minutes in a spa there is an initial rise and then a drop
in blood pressure that results in an almost euphoric feeling,
and they don’t know that jets strategically located to hit
certain specific pressure points will provide a deep penetrating
massage. They also don’t know that in less than twenty minutes
in a spa your core body temperature can reach 102° and that
when you get out and your body begins to cool you are drawn into
a deep satisfying sleep.
But we know.
Whether you’ve just dug a ditch
or played tennis a spa is not a luxury, it’s a life enriching
necessity.
